Bolide Slideshow Creator

Say you went on holiday abroad and you have a bunch of pictures you would like to show to your friends and family. But you don’t want to simply show them these pics, you want a more entertaining means of presenting your vacation snaps. With Bolide Slideshow Creator you can take these pictures and use them to create an entertaining video. You can add some music to be played in the background, you can pick and choose between many transition effects, you can add custom text, and more.

Bolide Slideshow Creator works with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. After you download and run the application’s installer, a setup wizard will show up and guide you through the installation process. Once the installation process completes, your default browser will launch and you will be taken to a “Thank you for installing Bolide Slideshow Creator!” webpage.

The application’s interface is divided into three panels. The photos and audio files you selected and the transitions and effects you can use are presented in the upper left hand panel. To the right there’s a panel that previews the project you’re working on. And down at the bottom there’s the story board that allows you to mix the photos as you see fit, add the transition effects you want, and so on.

You can play with the following when working on a Bolide Slideshow Creator project: load the photos you want, arrange them in the order you see fit, add one or more music files that will be played in the background, there are multiple transition effects to choose from, add custom text, formatting options for the text, rotate and mirror images, use a pan and zoom effect.
If you’re not done, you can save the project and work on it at a later time. But if you’re done, you can turn the project into a video file – projects can be saved as AVI, WMV, FLV, MP4, or MKV video files.
